At Alion Tech Studio, we believe that your routines, tasks, and location triggers are yours and yours alone. Reminder is designed from the ground up to be a completely offline, privacy-first utility app. We do not run remote cloud processing servers, we do not require user accounts, and we do not collect or track your personal reminders or location logs.

2. Data Collection & Security

Reminder operates entirely on-device. Here is exactly how we treat your data:

Reminders & Map Pins: All alerts, schedule rules, and location pin configurations are stored securely within the app's sandboxed local database via SwiftData. They are never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
History Logs: Triggered alerts are recorded in a local log file on your device. You can clear or duplicate history logs directly within the app.
No Tracking: We do not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics tracking code, or behavior monitoring tools inside the application.

3. iOS Device Permissions

To trigger location and time alerts, Reminder requests the following system permissions under your control:

Location Access: Required to monitor geographic boundaries and trigger location-based notifications. Your location data is processed locally by iOS and is never transmitted off your device.
Notifications Access: Required to show alert banners, play trigger sounds, and display snooze options.

4. Optional Upgrades & In-App Purchases

Reminder may offer optional upgrades via secure App Store In-App Purchases. Transactions are processed directly by Apple in accordance with standard App Store terms. We do not receive or store your payment details, billing address, or credit card numbers.

5. Children's Privacy

Because Reminder operates strictly offline without collecting any personal profiles or tracking identifiers, our services are fully compliant with COPPA and global data protection acts.
